Welcome to the Bluffs Wine Walk 2024! Recently voted the #1 attraction and event in Florida by the Tampa Bay Newspapers, this event features over 60 local businesses offering wine tastings, live music, food, shopping, and fun with friendly people. We anticipate over 1,000 guests will attend this year’s 8th annual wine walk, and we need enthusiastic volunteers like you to help make it a memorable experience!

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:

We have several roles to fill, each vital to the success of the event. Here are some of the duties you may be responsible for:

1. Check-In and Registration:

  • Greet guests at one of our three check-in locations:
    • BayFirst Bank: 401 Indian Rocks Rd N, Belleair Bluffs
    • Belleair Market: 510 Indian Rocks Rd N, Belleair Bluffs
    • Valley Bank: 2781 W Bay Dr, Belleair Bluffs
  • Check-in and Take Payments
  • Distribute wine glasses, wristbands, wine tasting tickets, and event maps.
  • Answer questions and provide information about the event.

2. Wine Pouring Stations:

  • Assist at designated wine tasting stations by pouring wine samples.
  • Ensure guests follow sampling guidelines and manage crowd flow.
  • Maintain a clean and stocked station.

3. Hospitality and Guest Services:

  • Offer directions and information to guests throughout the event.
  • Assist with crowd management to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
  • Support guests with any needs or inquiries.

4. Event Set-Up and Tear-Down:

  • Help set up tables, tents, signage, and other materials before the event.
  • Assist with breaking down and cleaning up after the event concludes.
  • Ensure all equipment and materials are properly stored.

5. Raffle and Silent Auction Support:

  • Promote and sell raffle tickets; assist with managing the silent auction.
  • Organize and display auction items; coordinate with winners for item pickup.

6. Social Media and Photography:

  • Capture photos and videos of the event for social media.
  • Provide live updates on various social media platforms.
  • Gather feedback from guests for future event improvement.

7. Volunteer Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with the public.
  • Reliable, responsible, and a good team player.
